Peter Shurley is in Facebook too. He recently spent most of his time in Myanmar. He has 5 children!! The eldest 19 and the youngest 1.

Where is your mum?
This morning after sending Xing Jie to our neighbour next door, Alex and I walked to the mini lorry which stopped by in front of a house around 30 foot steps from ours. It is a "mobile vegetable lorry" (In chinese term, we call it 菜车). The couple sells vegetables, fish, prawns, beancurds, onions, barley... all common food that a housewife would buy to cook at home.
When Alex and I were selecting and buying things there, uncle asked:"Where is your mum? Have not seen her for quite some times." I was surprised:"You remember my mum? She is in Singapore now, taking care of my brother's baby." "Of course I remember her. She always come buy things carrying a baby."
Then uncle asked why are we not working on Monday. We told him we are now taking leave every Monday. He understands it is due to economic downturn and shared with us his story. He was working for people when his 4 children were young. There was times when he couldn't find any job at all. He couldn't sleep at night thinking about no money to support family. He even went to Singapore for work but eventually decided to start own business to have more secure income. Now his eldest son is 21 years old and the youngest daughter is 13. I can see he has found his way out.
Which parent doesn't love their children? We can do anything and try all ways just to provide the best to our children. Children give us strength to go through the toughest moments in our life.
Is there a difference have or not have child after getting married?
Yes. If you have your own child, you will understand your parents more. There is more reasons for you to be matured, responsible, be a better person and a good example because your child will imitate all your actions regardless if it is good or bad.

A quiet morning
It is 7:47am, a Saturday morning.
It is still very quiet.
Probably most people in my neighbourhood are not working on Saturday, and they are still sleeping.
I am going to start making noise by putting clothes into washing machine, and preparing porridge for Xing Jie.
We are supposed to go back to Port Dickson today to visit dad. The last time I went back is the 7th day of Chinese New Year. My dad is staying alone at home now with 3 dogs and flocks of chicken. My mum will be back soon by middle of March.
Alex expressed his feelings of going back as 'boring, nothing to do there'. I agree. No internet connection, no Astro. No cinema. No shopping mall. No badminton. If he wants to go fishing at the pond, he needs to hunt for lizards first as lizard is the favourite food of the fish in the pond.
Sigh... since when going back home visiting parents becomes a burden?
I wish that when I get old, I am still healthy, have my own circle of friends and have enough money. My children will not worry about me and just go and do what they want to do.
Usually women live longer than men. If husband pass away first, the wife have no acompany in her old age. Loosing a life partner is very tough especially for an old woman whom her life was solely around husband, children and work. A woman should be cautious not to fall into this trap.

And in Proverbs 16:3 -> Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.'

The Bra Story
The bras I wore before pregnant are too small. The bras I wore during pregnancy are too loose. I am looking for bra without underwire as mum advice it is better for heatlth. I tried Triumph, Sorella and Scarlet's bra without underwire but none of them suits.
Last night, I tried my luck in Audrey International bra shop located in Jusco Seremban. There were many choices and the sales woman provided professional service and advice. I tried nearly 20 bras with different designs and sizes, and finally only found 1 design and 1 size which suits me. By the way, all bras I tried are underwired. The no underwire one has soft cup. My nipples will be visible if I wear them.
Since no other choices, I ended up buying 4 pieces of the same type. 3 body colour, 1 black. With promotion (every RM40 rebate RM8, every RM80 rebate RM18), it still costs me RM197.++. Swipe card lo...
I Googled and so far have not seen any report saying bra with underwire is proven harmful for health. Not wearing bra when sleeping should be sufficient to give my breasts a lift. I hope mum will not nags at me when she finds out I wear underwired bra next time. She nags at me because she cares for me and loves me. OK. I will keep silence and listen to her, and nod my head at the same time (Yes, Yes).

Sushi King Mid Valley - attempt to cheat?
Alex and I went to Mid Valley on 16-Feb (Mon), hoping to buy children safety gate to be installed at the entrance from our living room into the kitchen, to prevent Xing Jie from going into the kitchen with her walker and play around with the laundry detergent, dustbin, onions and garlics. We didn't manage to buy any safety gate as Jusco and Carrefour no stock, and the one available in Toy R us is not practical. We ended up buying a RM30+ extendable shower curtain rail from Jusco.
Then, we went to Sushi King Mid Valley (lower ground, LG-074) for lunch. I ordered unagi with rice and Alex a set lunch with fish. It cost like RM34+. I offerred to pay the bill. So I went to the counter and paid cash RM50. The cashier gave me back some change. I calculated them before I left the counter and it was lack of RM0.60. So, I patiently explained and shown to the cashier that the change was lak of RM0.60. Before the supervisor came over, I saw him quickly took out RM1 from his pocket, and give me exact change. When the supervisor came over and asked what was happening, he told his supervisor:"I do not have enough change. It is very difficult for me."
We left and discussed on what has happened. It is illogical for a cashier to take out money from his own pocket. So, we were suspecting he is cheating a few cents from each customer who pay cash, so that he could earn more at the end of the day. Since no solid proof that he is trying to cheat, we didn't go back to Sushi King to tell the supervisor what I saw. Usually guy pays bill and guy usually doesn't check how much change they received. So, this little difference will not be noticed easily.
Probably, he has learnt his lesson and will be more careful and re-consider if he ever tries to cheat a lady who pays the bill. If he ever intentially cheating on customers, I truly wish he repents. God, please help him change.

Xing Jie's 3rd & 4th tooth
The lower gum front left tooth is out. The upper gum front left tooth will pop out anytime as we can see white line there and it is a little hard.
Alex had a dream last month before Xing Jie has any tooth. He dreamt of Xing Jie's teeth are grown completely, and he was wondering why she suddenly has so many teeth.
His dream has come true.
